Barcelona are reportedly considering selling Paulinho this summer at around €50m according to reports. The move would be considered somewhat strange on first glance given what Paulinho gave Barcelona last season.
Seemingly, the thinking in Barcelona is that selling high on Paulinho is probably the smart thing to do. His season was peak for what you could expect from Paulinho, so making a profit off of selling him would be pretty amazing given all of the criticism Barcelona took when signing him last season.
The other part of Barcelona potentially selling him is that Barcelona can only have three non-European players on their squad. Philippe Coutinho, Yerry Mina and soon, Arthur will be the players filling those spots. So not much room for Paulinho.
If Barcelona sell him it will probably be rationalized by these two reasons, and probably a smart move for club in their current situation.
