Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu was asked about speculation linking Manchester United’s Paul Pogba with a move to Barcelona after Sunday’s Supercopa win.

Bartomeu didn’t want to talk about the World Cup winner, but he did say there was still time left in the window for Barcelona to do more busines.

“I won’t speak of any names, we have respect for all clubs and there are 20 days left,” he said.

”We’ll see which players come out. We’re focused on the League, so it’s best to ask [Eric] Abidal, [Ramon] Planes or Pep Segura about players. There’s still time to do business.”

The Premier League transfer window has now closed, but clubs can still sell players. La Liga’s window remains open until the end of August.

The latest reports in the UK have suggested Barcelona have little chance of landing Pogba this summer, but they reckon they could return for the midfielder next year if he remains unsettled at Old Trafford.
