Frenkie De Jong remains a Barcelona target and reports this week have even claimed the Spanish champions have some kind of agreement with Ajax.
The midfielder offered an update on his future on Tuesday after helping Ajax secure a 5-2 aggregate win over Standard Liege in Champions League qualifying.
“In principle I stay, but you never know in football, maybe there will be a club in four days that offers an absurd amount, so Ajax says go, so you can never predict it, but the chance is very big that I stay with Ajax.”
