The final decision as to whether Yerry Mina stays at Barcelona or leaves this summer will come from Ernesto Valverde, according to vice-president Jordi Mestre.
There has been huge speculation over Mina’s future with a host of clubs said to be interested in signing him this summer.
Premier League sides Everton and Manchester United are believed to be top of the list, but Mestre would not be drawn on whether Old Trafford was a potential destination.
“It’s top secret,” he said. “We have to be very careful because Yerry Mina arrived last season and he’s very young, but we will see. We will see. The final opinion [on if he stays or goes] is with the coach [Valverde].”

The arrival of Clement Lenglet means that Barcelona need to shift some defenders before the close of the transfer window, and only one from Mina, Thomas Vermaelen and Marlon Santos is likely to stay.
Reports in the UK on Sunday have claimed that Manchester United’s move for Mina has collapsed with Jose Mourinho’s side set to sign Toby Alderweireld instead.
