Yerry Mina’s future continues to hog the headlines, and there were a few more twists and turns on Monday.
The Colombia international returned to training with Barcelona and from the looks of his posts on social media, he’s perfectly happy at Ernesto Valverde’s side.
His post translates as “in what I like the most” which is not entirely clear, but a suggestion at least that he’s happy doing what he’s doing at Barcelona training.
Reports overnight claimed Everton had agreed a fee, but cue Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas who has popped up on Twitter to insist his team are still in the running.
He wrote: “Farewell Lyon, Mina is going to Everton for €32 million... I don’t think that information is accurate.
”Yerry is still very interested in l’OL. We also want him to come to Lyon so he can play the Champions League.”
It certainly seems Mina has a choice between Everton and Lyon. Meanwhile, Jordi Mestre has said Ernesto Valverde has the final say over whether he stays or goes.
