It’s silly season we all know that, and time is fast running out in the Premier League transfer window which means the rumors are getting even crazier.

So here we go with the latest surrounding Paul Pogba and Manchester United, and be sure to sit down because it’s a pretty crazy one.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio.com, Barcelona have offered £45 million plus Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes for Pogba. Perhaps unsurprisingly the offer has been turned down.

Pogba had a pretty tough time at United last season. He was frequently dropped by Jose Mourinho but then went on to star at the World Cup with France.

Manchester United have endured a dismal pre-season with their dour performances being deservedly criticised and Mourinho in typically spiky mood.

Mourinho has claimed the team will have a tough season if they do not strengthen in the final few days of the transfer window which looks an odd claim given the strength of their squad.

Trying to land one of Manchester United’s most important players just days before the transfer window ends looks a tough task, but there seems little doubt the rumors will continue until the window closes on Thursday.
