Jean-Clair Todibo’s agent explains why he picked Barcelona over Juventus

Jean-Clair Todibo’s agent, Bruno Satin, has explained why the defender has decided to move to Barcelona.

The centre-back will make the switch once his contract with Toulouse expires in the summer, and Satin has said he was a wanted man.

“He picked Barça because of their history. It’s a huge club. Since he was a child he dreamt of playing for Barça,” he said.

“It wasn’t a decision based on money but the feeling he had for the club.

”Compared to the other teams who wanted him, at Barça he has more chance of being in the first team.”

”At Juventus there are great defenders and he would need to wait longer (for a chance to play).”

Barcelona have come in for criticism for the signing by Toulouse, who have accused the Spanish champions of arrogance and “not behaving like a big club.”

Todibo has not played for the club since November due to a contract dispute, and his move to Barcelona seems to have clearly upset the French side.
