Barcelona are reportedly considering a move for Girona’s Cristhian Stuani as they search for reinforcements in attack.

Ernesto Valverde’s side have lost Paco Alcacer and Munir this season leaving them remarkably short of striking options.

According to Marca, Stuani is the latest player to have caught Barca’s eye and he is now a “serious option” for a number of reasons.

Not only has he been in great form again this season, with 12 La Liga goals already, he’s available to play in the Champions League and his release clause is only €15 million.

Sport are running a similar piece. They reckon that Ernesto Valverde’s top choice is Stuani and that Barcelona have already been in touch with Girona.
