Kevin-Prince Boateng has confirmed he’s on his way to Barcelona in what will surely be the most unexpected transfer of the January,

Widespread reports emerged on Monday that Barcelona have agreed a loan deal to sign the 31-year-old from Sassuolo, with the option to sign him permanently.

Boateng has since spoken out and pretty much confirmed he’s set to join the Spanish champions.

Boateng is a very well-travelled footballer and has played for a host of clubs including Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan.

He joined Sassuolo last summer and has scored five goals in all competitions for the Serie A side so far this season.
