Barcelona confirmed that Denis Suarez was going to join Arsenal on loan for the rest of the season. They announced it via a blog post, which was then quickly deleted from their website. The announcement was also that Suarez had extended his contract through the 2020-21 season.

The blog post also announced that Arsenal would have a chance to fully buy out Suarez once the loan was up.
Tuesday, Ernesto Valverde said that the situation was close to being done: “I know Denis was in this situation. It’s not official yet and we have to wait a little,” Valverde told a news conference. It was a possibility that everyone valued, and we hope that things go well.”
Hopefully the blog post will be back up soon and we’ll be able to officially confirm that Suarez has started his time with Arsenal.
