Ivan Rakitic has had plenty to say over recent weeks and he has given a fresh interview where he’s hinted he could be set to leave Barcelona.

The midfielder has been reduced to a bit-part role at Barcelona this season under Ernesto Valverde which he has said previously makes him feel sad.

Rakitic now says that he wants to keep winning titles whether that is with Barcelona or at another club.

“As I love football, I want to aspire to everything and I am thinking about how to change this situation and for me it is very clear: I want to win more titles, here or anywhere, I want to go on to win the Champions League this season, then the next and again after that. I will give my all until the last day and enjoy every training session.”

There is a growing sense that Barcelona and Rakitic may part ways in January, although it’s not entirely clear where he may end up.

Manchester United, PSG, Juventus and Atletico have all been linked in the past but it remains to seen if they will make a fresh approach in the winter.
