Real Betis boss Rubi was asked about rumors the club are interested in signing Carles Alena in the January window and spoke about the Barcelona midfielder.
Alena has been linked with a move away from the club in order to secure more game time and does indeed appear to be a target for the Andalusian side.
“My priority is the three games that we have left, for me it is very important to finish the [first] round strongly and try to gain many points.
”And it is true that the club will be active, either with Alena or with other players.
”Anyone who we believe can help us improve our current side, which is not easy because we already have a very good squad, will be welcome.”
