Philippe Coutinho bagged a hat-trick and two assists for Bayern Munich on Saturday as the champions came from behind to hammer Werder Bremen 6-1 at the Allianz Arena.

The Brazilian equalised for the hosts in the 45th minute and then showed great vision to set up Robert Lewandowski to put Bayern in front in first half stoppage-time.

Coutinho then made it 3-1 just after the hour with a brilliant dink and grabbed another assist when Thomas Muller made it 5-1.

The Barcelona loanee then struck a trademark curling shot to complete his hat-trick and make it 6-1 late on.
