Barcelona B’s Jorge Cuenca extends deal until 2021

The defender has extended his stay at the club

Barcelona B defender Jorge Cuenca has extended his contract with the club until 2021, the club announced on Thursday.

The 19-year-old put pen to paper on a new deal that will keep him at the Camp Nou for another two seasons.

The deal includes a release clause of €30m but that will rise to €100m if he becomes part of the first-team set-up.

The teenager has featured for the first team once this season.

He started October’s 1-0 win over Cultural Leonesa in the Copa del Rey and lasted 61 minutes before being replaced by Clement Lenglet.
