Barcelona dreaming of Marcus Rashford

Today’s rumors start with a little dream of Barcelona’s that apparently consists of Marcus Rashford ditching Manchester United and moving to the Camp Nou.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Spanish champions like the striker “a lot” but they are also aware that it would be difficult to bring him to Spain.

Rashford has become a key figure for the Red Devils this season, and Barcelona would probably have to spend over €100 million to sign him.

Barcelona and Arsenal want Aouar

The good people at Sport have been leafing through French newspaper L’Equipe and have discovered that Barcelona and Arsenal are “at war” as they both want to sign Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar

The midfielder has previously claimed to be a big fan of Andres Iniesta and Xavi, and Barcelona are apparently keen on bringing yet another midfielder to the Camp Nou.

They are not alone though. Unai Emery is believed to be an admirer, while Manchester City’s name is also thrown into the mix for the midfielder who’s contracted to Lyon until 2023.

Barcelona offered teenage left-back

Staying with Sport and they bring news that Barcelona have been offered Palmeiras left-back Luan Candido.

The 18-year-old is seen as one of the club’s most exciting young talents, and the Brazilian team need to make a “major sale.”

Barcelona and Manchester City are supposed to be keen, and if he were to move to the Camp Nou he’d likely join Barcelona B initially as he’d occupy a non-EU spot.

Inter offer Rakitic big deal

And finally today we end with another one of those Ivan Rakitic to Inter Milan rumors that simply refuse to go away.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have offered Rakitic a deal worth €6.5 million a season, which is an improvement on what he currently earns at Barca.

The report also notes that joining Inter would see Rakitic move closer to his parents in Basel, although Ernesto Valverde does not want him to go.
