Andre Onana’s agent says Barcelona interested in Ajax goalkeeper

Andre Onana’s agent, Albert Botines, has said that Barcelona are interested in re-signing the goalkeeper from Ajax.

The stopper left the Catalan giants for Ajax in 2015 but has been linked with a return this season in a move that could cost Barca up to €20 million.

Botines was asked about interest from Barcelona and says the speculation is true.

“That’s correct. It’s not a secret that Barcelona are interested,” he said.

It seems that Barca are keen on Onana as a replacement for back-up stopper Jasper Cillessen.

The Dutchman has starred whenever he’s featured for Barca this season, and it would be little surprise if clubs tried to lure him away this summer.
