According to a club official at Eintracht Frankfurt, there have been no official offers from Barcelona or Manchester City for striker Luka Jovic. Manchester City have been closely monitoring the Serbian attacker, while Barcelona are reportedly much closer in making an actual offer.

“The numbers that are rampant across social media are not yet on our table,” said Wolfgang Steubing, the club’s supervisory board chairman.

”There is definitely no offer. But maybe that will happen.”

The reports are that Barcelona are preparing a €50 million offer for the striker. His playing style is similar to that of current striker Luis Suarez, and his youth gives them the advantage of time.

Currently, Jovic is on loan at the German club from Benfica. They have the option to purchase his rights for €7m.
