Jasper Cillessen admits he wants to leave Barcelona

Barcelona goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen has admitted he wants to leave the Camp Nou in the summer in search of regular playing time.

The Dutch international has only made seven appearances for Ernesto Valverde’s side this season and has now stated his intention to move away from the club.

“After this season I will go on vacation first and then I hope to find a new club to get more playing time.”

Cillessen’s final appearance for Barcelona is likely to be in the final of the Copa del Rey against Valencia on May 25.

The goalkeeper has won the trophy twice before but will be aiming to go out on a high by helping Barca lift the trophy once again.
