Ajax coach Erik ten Hag has been asked about speculation linking him with a move to Barcelona and says he is not thinking about leaving the Eredivisie side.

The 49-year-old has drawn plenty of admirers after leading his side to the semi-finals of the Champions League, knocking out Real Madrid and Juventus along the way.

His team are also on the brink of landing the league title and have already won the Dutch Cup, but he does not seem too interested in a move away.

“Being connected to clubs like Chelsea, Barcelona and Bayern Munich is nice, but I have a contract in force at Ajax and I feel good here, we are working in the future, I am not thinking of leaving now,” he said.

Ten Hag’s name has already been mentioned as a possible replacement for Ernesto Valverde at Barcelona.

The 57-year-old said in the wake of Barcelona’s defeat to Liverpool he has not thought about quitting, but his position is believed to be under scrutiny after two embarrassing Champions League exits in a row.
