Ajax centre-back Matthijs de Ligt says he does not know if he will join team-mate Frenkie de Jong in making the move to Barcelona this summer.

The defender was asked about his future after helping Ajax clinch a domestic double by beating De Graafschap 4-1 to clinch the Eredivisie title.

De Ligt has been linked with a move to the Camp Nou, but he says he still has to make up his mind about his future.

“This is not the time to talk about my future,” he said.

”I don’t know if I will go with Frenkie de Jong [to Barcelona]. I still have to analyse things and see everything. We’ll see what happens.

”I cannot say anything. We’ll see at the end of summer. There is nothing yet.”

Reports in Spain on Thursday claimed that Barcelona are now “playing hardball” over De Ligt and will not increase their latest offer, despite pressure from his agent Mino Raiola.
