Barcelona’s loss at Anfield has only propelled plans at the club to refresh parts of the roster before next season, according to AS. There have long been rumors that the aging core of the midfield would be refreshed.

There are four names that are more than likely to be on their way out. Kevin Prince Boateng and Jeison Murillo will return to their clubs, Sassuolo and Valencia respectively, after a six-month loan spell at Barcelona. Then Jasper Cillessen and Thomas Vermaelen are two names likely to be sold.

The other names that are a bit more difficult to move are players like Phillipe Coutinho, Samuel Umtiti, Ivan Rakitic, and Malcom. Coutinho and Rakitic are two of the higher priced players that Barcelona will try and sell. While players like Umtiti and Malcom still haven’t reached their full potential and won’t get Barcelona as much cash.
