Barcelona reportedly have “verbal agreement” with Neymar for the Brazilian to return to the Camp Nou on a five-year deal.

According to Sport, Neymar has agreed personal terms and will “earn almost 50% less” at Barcelona than he currently does at Paris Saint-Germain.

The report reckons the 27-year-old will earn €24m per season at Barcelona, similar to what he was on previously, and didn’t bother negotiating because he knew that was all the club could afford.

Barcelona now just have to agree a fee for the Brazilian with PSG which is easier said than done, and Sport report the work is being done by “intermediaries.”

PSG chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi has hinted the club could be willing to allow players to leave by saying he won’t stand for any more “celebrity behaviour” at his club, but he certainly won’t want Neymar to leave on the cheap.

Reports in France have claimed PSG want €300m for Neymar, while other rumors have claimed Barcelona are prepared to offer €100m plus a player.
