Barcelona have reportedly upped the ante in the Neymar transfer discussions. The club have put both Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho on the table for transfer talks. The reported deal would include 40 million euros on top of the two players.

The thought process has long been that Barcelona would need to include one of Dembele or Coutinho in the transfer, but including both plus 40 million euros would have to be considered a pretty good haul for PSG.

In public, Barcelona officials are maintaining that Dembele and Coutinho aren’t for sale. However, with Antoine Griezmann already aboard, and a move for Neymar growing in likelihood, the Barcelona attack will be a bit too busy for Coutinho and Dembele to both stay.

PSG are trying to recover the 222 million euros they spent on Neymar, and Barcelona want to recover some of the value they put into Coutinho and Dembele. Both sides will eventually need to make concessions should this deal take place.
