Barcelona defender Nelson Semedo has called fresh rumors linking him with a move to Paris Saint-Germain “fake news” on social media.
Mundo Deportivo reported on Sunday that Semedo could be included in a deal to bring Neymar to the Camp Nou, despite the full-back being happy at the Camp Nou.
However, Semedo is having none of it and posted a picture of the report on Instagram stories with the words ‘fake news’ splashed all over it.
"Don't talk nonsense, Fake News", Semedo says about the following "Top Secret" article from Mundo Deportivo. Semedo seems to have become Barcelona’s first choice right-back above Sergi Roberto this season with Moussa Wague set to be his back-up.
There had been reports earlier in the summer that Semedo was looking for an exit as he wanted to be first choice but it looks like he has now nailed down the right-back spot.
