Barcelona’s bid to bring Neymar back to the Camp Nou appears no closer with their recent bid reportedly turned down by PSG.

A host of outlets are reporting that PSG were quick to reject Barca’s offer, although there are different reports in what the Spanish champions were willing to pay.

According to ESPN, Barcelona offered to take Neymar on loan for €40 million and were then willing to pay a fee of €150m in 2020 to land him permanently.

Over at Sport they reckon that PSG turned down Barca’s offer of €160m but say negotiations will continue between the two clubs.

Marca have a similar line although they reckon that PSG want guarantees Barca will take up their purchase option and actually value Neymar at €250m.

The latest reports suggest there is still a long way to go in this seemingly never-ending transfer saga and that Neymar is no closer to sealing a return to the Camp Nou.
