Rivaldo tells Barcelona to bring Neymar back to the Camp Nou

There is plenty of chatter about Neymar’s future again today with reports that PSG and Barcelona are meeting to thrash out a deal, and Rivaldo has added to the debate with a post on Instagram.

The Brazilian has said that Neymar was wrong to leave the Camp Nou but has told Barcelona they need to make sure he doesn’t go to another club.

Here’s what he’s had to say:

“We know everything that happened to Neymar. His departure from Barcelona was wrong he never should have left one of the biggest clubs in the world. But he is eager to come back and assume what he did. May the president of Barcelona and all of the board don’t let Neymar go to another club. I hope you settle with PSG and he can come back from where he should never have left. Visca Barca.”

The latest reports have suggested there is a growing optimism in the Barcelona camp that a deal can be agreed before the window closes on September 2.
