It’s transfer deadline day all across Europe which means a last blast of rumors before the window shuts until January.
Barcelona’s hopes of signing Neymar look all but over, but there are still a few reports floating about concerning the Spanish champions.
It looks pretty unlikely Barca will be indulging in any late deals, but here’s what the media have been speculating ahead of the close of the window.
Bernardeschi in, Rakitic to Juventus?
Let’s start with Mundo Deportivo and Gazzetta dello Sport who reckon that Juventus are still thinking about making a late move for Ivan Rakitic, but the only player Barcelona will consider taking in exchange is Federico Bernardeschi.
Rakitic had decided to stay at Barca despite interest from PSG and Juventus, but there’s a suggestions his mind could be swayed after failing to start all three matches this season. Bernardeschi is in a similar position in Turin but it’s a complicated deal and time is running out.
Celta to land Rafinha on loan
Meanwhile, MD are also reporting that Celta Vigo will try to close a loan deal, without a purchase option, for Rafinha before the window closes on Monday.
The Brazilian’s contract expires next summer, and Barcelona would be willing to sell if they receive an offer of €15 million.
A deadline-day sale is extremely unlikely, and if he does leave on loan he may have to sign a renewal before he goes as he will be out of contract next summer.
Ansu Fati now, Neymar in 2020
Over at Sport the word is that Barcelona will bank on 16-year-old Ansu Fati this season but will get back on the Neymar train next year and sign the Brazilian in 2020.

Barcelona will either renew their interest when the transfer window reopens in January or wait until next summer. There’s something to look forward to then.....
Abel Ruiz to stay with Barca B
And finally we end with news that Abel Ruiz will stay with Barcelona B for the rest of the season.
Sport reckon the club have not been able to reach agreement with any of the 19-year-old’s suitors despite holding talks about a possible move.
Real Betis, Valencia, Huesca, Sevilla, Espanyol and Leganes were all reportedly interested but could not find an agreement with the Spanish champions.
