Real Betis boss Rubi insists Loren Moron isn’t a Barcelona loan target

Real Betis’ boss Rubi discussed the possibility that Barcelona may be interested in the club’s striker Loren Moron. The injured Luis Suarez has left a hole at the top of the Barcelona attack, and Moron could be a decent temporary option to fill that role.

“For a coach, it’s not a bad sign that players are linked with linked with these types of things,” Rubi said. “I am calm because I don’t think there’s anything in it.”

There doesn’t stand much reason for Betis to accommodate this move. Although, money tends to talk. They’re in the middle of preparing for a Copa del Rey match against Rayo Vallecano this week, so even if there was business being done, it’s unlikely Rubi would speak about it.
