Philippe Coutinho’s agent has rubbished rumors that Barcelona have offered the Brazilian to Juventus ahead of the January transfer window.

Calciomercato reported earlier today that Barca would be willing to offload the former Liverpool man and suggested the Serie A champions were a potential destination.

Mundo Deportivo were quickly on the phone to Kia Joorabchian to ask what he thought of it all and were given a fairly brief and swift response.

“I have not heard anything and we have no plans to move from Barça, and yes Coutinho can contribute to a successful season.”

Coutinho is back to full fitness after missing a month with a hamstring injury and will be hoping to retain his place in the starting XI for Sunday’s clash with Osasuna.

Yet Ronald Koeman will make changes to his attack for the game. Captain Lionel Messi will return after a rest, while Ousmane Dembele and Martin Braithwaite are pushing for starts.
