Jean-Clair Todibo’s loan spell at Benfica isn’t going too well with the Frenchman having struggled with injury since leaving the Camp Nou and yet to make his debut for his new club.
Coach Jorge Jesus was asked about Todibo on Wednesday and whether he would feature in Benfica’s next fixture against Standard Liege in the Europa League.
Jesus made it clear Todibo wouldn’t be featuring with a pretty harsh response.
“Todibo won’t play against Standard. He doesn’t have the physical or the tactical conditions. He’s not worked with the team. He’s not one of the players I am thinking of.”

There have already been reports that Todibo could be on his way back to Barcelona in January with Benfica keen to cut their losses and bring in another defender instead.
It’s not clear if Koeman would be interested in having the youngster in his squad or if Barcelona would look to sell Todibo or send him out on loan again.
Barca have suffered defensive injuries and still have Gerard Pique out for several months, but Ronald Araujo and Samuel Umtiti are back fit again, while Oscar Minguez has also emerged as an option.
