Marc Bartra says he has never ruled out a return to Barcelona after helping Real Betis beat Real Madrid 2-1 in La Liga on Sunday night.
The victory for Betis keeps Barcelona top of the table with 11 games left to play and led to plenty of questions about a possible return after the game.
Here’s what Bartra had to say:
“Right now I am totally focused on Betis. I am feeling very good here, although I have never closed the doors on a return to Barça. I spent 15 years of my life there and they were very beautiful years.
“I follow Barça very much. I have many friends in the locker room and now there is also the coach who made me come here.”

Bartra left Barcelona back in 2016 for Borussia Dortmund and spent two years with the Bundesliga side before heading back to La Liga with Betis in 2018.
It doesn’t really seem likely Barcelona would go back for Bartra, although there have been rumors the club will buy a defender in the summer.
