The defender moved on loan until the end of June with an option to buy for €25 million, plus €5 million in add-ons.
He’s gone on to make seven appearances in all competitions for David Wagner’s side and has been talking about how he’s settled in at the Veltins-Arena.
“Really good. All good. I’ve settled in well with the team, I feel great. All we’re missing at the moment are victories – we’re in a somewhat difficult period at present, but it’ll come good in time.”
“I think I’ve been improving bit by bit in the league. There was a moment when I wasn’t used to playing week-in week-out. But I’ve got back into it bit-by-bit, and now it’s going well. But if we don’t win, I’m never happy.
“I always knew that the Bundesliga was a very good league. And I wasn’t proven wrong when I arrived – it’s a very good league, very intense and has lots of quality. I like it a lot here.”

Todibo seems happy enough at Schalke but the big question is whether the club will take up their purchase option at the end of the season.
Much may depend on when European football resumes and how much game time Todibo sees. The Bundesliga has been suspended until April 2 because of the coronavirus outbreak but there’s no guarantee it will return next month.
