Barcelona are reportedly using the current break in football due to the coronavirus outbreak to make progress on summer signings.

Sport report the club want four signings and have already spoken to manager Quique Setien and received his approval for their plans.

The club have decided they want a full-back (preferably a left-back), a left-sided centre-back, a physical midfielder (like Yaya Toure or Seydou Keita) and a replacement for Luis Suarez.

Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez is the club’s top choice to come in for the Uruguayan, and the report reckons the next fortnight could be crucial in landing the 22-year-old.

The club are also keen to strengthen defensively, although Sport reckon they might have to sell either Clement Lenglet or Samuel Umtiti to raise funds before they buy.

There are no names mentioned regarding which defenders Barca want to buy, but other reports have talked about Lazio’s Luiz Felipe emerging as a strong option.
