Bayern tell Ter Stegen not to renew

Today’s rumors start off with the rather interesting news that Bayern Munich have been on the phone to Marc-Andre ter Stegen and told him not to renew his Barcelona contract.

Sport reckon the Bavarian giants want to bring in the goalkeeper next summer as a replacement for the outgoing Manuel Neuer.

The German champions think Ter Stegen would be the perfect replacement for Neuer and want to take advantage of the fact contract talks at Barcelona have stalled.

Coutinho wants to choose his next destination

Sticking with Sport and they also bring news that Philippe Coutinho wants to be the man to choose his next destination.

The Brazilian seems to be well aware that he will not playing his football at the Camp Nou next season but does want to have the final say when it comes to a move.

Coutinho is pretty keen on a return to England and would preferably like to head to London and play for either Chelsea or Arsenal.

Barcelona will let Vidal leave

Over at Calciomercato the word is that Barcelona will let Arturo Vidal leave the club in the summer, and he is likely to make the switch to Inter Milan.

The Vidal to Inter rumors have been floating about for practically the whole season, and the midfielder would be happy to depart to secure more regular football.

Barcelona are said to want between €15m to €20m for the Chile international whose contract at the club runs until 2021.

Barcelona considering Upamecano and Koussai

And finally today we end with news that Barcelona are trying to decide between RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano and PSG’s Tanguy Kouassi with regards signing a defender.

Leipzig are thought to be willing to sell Upamecano in the summer because his contract is due to expire in 2021 and they risk losing him for nothing then.

However, 17-year-old Kouassi has also emerged as an option and has not yet signed a professional contract with the French champions.
