Barcelona’s reported hunt for Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez is once again in the news on Saturday with the latest reports suggesting the club are closing in on the 22-year-old.

Sport bring word that Barca have convinced Martinez to prioritise a move to the Camp Nou over any other offers he may receive.

The club managed to make the breakthrough in February by convincing the striker he will be a starter at Barcelona even though Luis Suarez will still be at the club.

Martinez is keen to play alongside Lionel Messi and will tell Inter he wants to play for Barcelona, although he does not want to force an exit from the club.

Mundo Deportivo also have a similar update on Martinez. They reckon that Martinez is pretty sold on a move to Barca, and Messi’s recent praise helped make up his mind.

One factor that will complicate the deal is the current coronavirus and the financial impact it will have on both clubs.

This could mean that players are included as part of the deal, and the most likely man to move is Arturo Vidal who is loved by Antonio Conte and wants regular football.
