Philippe Coutinho’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, says he thinks the Barcelona midfielder would love to return to the Premier League.

The Brazilian had a fine spell with Liverpool before moving to Barcelona in January 2018 but has struggled to make much of an impact at the Camp Nou.

His future is currently the subject of much speculation, as he seems set to return to Barcelona after a season on loan at Bayern Munich.

Joorabchian has hinted a move to England could be on the cards but admits the coronavirus pandemic will have a big effect on the transfer market.

”After the Champions League game he played in England we had a long chat about it,” he said.

”The Premier League is something that he has always enjoyed playing in, and loved playing in, and would probably love to come back and play in.

”The question is what are going to be the financial conditions of all the clubs, including Barcelona and all the Premier League clubs at the end of this pandemic.”

Rumors this week have suggested Barcelona are talking to Chelsea about a move for Coutinho. The Brazilian could move on loan with the deal including an option to buy next summer.
