The midfielder is reportedly going nowhere this summer

Barcelona are expected to be busy in the summer transfer market once again but one player who looks to be going absolutely nowhere is midfielder Arthur.

The Brazilian is splashed all over Sport’s front page on Thursday with the headline ‘Untouchable’ and a report that the club consider him non-transferable.

There aren’t too many players that Barcelona are not willing to sell this summer it seems, but Arthur has joined Lionel Messi and Frenkie de Jong on that list.

The midfielder has enjoyed a bit of an odd season in 2019-20, he’s only started 12 La Liga games due to injury (or something else depending on what you believe).

Yet despite that Sport say the club are banking on him for the future. They realise age is on his side and he can go on and develop further at the Camp Nou.

Arthur is also said to be completely happy at Barca, knows he’s a good fit for the club and is in the best place to adapt and improve as a player.
