Hernan Crespo has advised Lautaro Martinez not to move to Barcelona this summer and to wait three years before leaving Inter Milan.
The Argentine striker has been heavily linked with a move to the Camp Nou as the long-term replacement for Luis Suarez, but Crespo thinks Martinez should stay at San Siro and continue his development.
“I tell him that he should stay at Inter, without a doubt. The reason is simple. He did well in Argentina with Racing Avellaneda, arrived at Inter and was Mauro Icardi’s back-up in the first season, and now is a fixed starter,” he said.
”This is his first season as a fixed starter. It’s not much to go on to decide to change his life and move to Barcelona. He needs at least three years to complete his growth, then he can think about changing teams.”

Martinez appears to be Barca’s top summer target but it remains to be seen if they will be able to agree a deal. Inter are reportedly keen for Barca to meet his €111m release clause, while the Spanish champions are said to want to include players in the deal.
