Former Brazil manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has told Neymar it’s time to leave Paris Saint-Germain and return to Barcelona.

There has been renewed speculation the Brazilian will head back to the Camp Nou in the summer transfer window after three seasons in Ligue 1.

Scolari has been asked about the 28-year-old and reckons he should jump at the chance if it arises.

“To Neymar, I would say, knowing what I know: go back, go to Barcelona,” he said.

“If the opportunity arises, then you will again opt to be the best in the world on equal terms with any player of those who are always chosen.”

Neymar has won two league titles, the Coupe de France and the Coupe de la Ligue since joining PSG but failed to make the 30-man shortlist for the 2019 Ballon d’Or for the first time since 2010.
