Pedri says he’s dreaming of playing with Lionel Messi at Barcelona and loves the way Quique Setien’s teams play football.
The 17-year-old is set to move to the Camp Nou in the summer from Las Palmas and will get the chance to link up with both Messi and Setien.
Speaking ahead of the summer transfer window he’s been talking about Barcelona and his hopes for the future.
“I love the soccer that Setién plays because it is what I like. Hopefully in the future I will have the opportunity to play a game for him,” he said.
“I have dreamed many times of being with Messi in a locker room or on a field. Hopefully it will happen. At the moment I can’t imagine giving Messi an assist. I prefer to continue giving them to Rubén Castro (laughs). What has to come will come.

Pedri has been a regular for Las Palmas in 2019-20 but it’s not quite clear yet what will happen when he gets to Barca. There have been reports he will get a chance in pre-season to prove himself but could then be sent out on loan to get minutes.
