Juventus hinted at a Frenkie de Jong exchange in Barcelona swap talks

Sport is reporting that Juventus hinted at the possibility of a Frenkie de Jong swap deal with Barcelona. The two clubs had been involved in talks, over what specifically I don’t know, in recent weeks.

De Jong moved to Barcelona last summer for 75 million euros. It’s pretty needless to say, but Barcelona reportedly quickly shut down the possibility of De Jong being involved in any such move.

De Jong is the core of Barcelona’s future in the midfield. He showed bright signs in his first year at the club, thus far. It’s only expected that De Jong continues his upward trajectory at the club. Props to Juventus for asking.
