Barcelona could be set to use right-back Nelson Semedo to land Miralem Pjanic from Juventus this summer.

According to Mundo Deportivo, sources at the club have said the Portugal international is the Barcelona player most likely to be used in any potential swap deal.

Of course Arthur is the player that Juventus were said to be most keen on bringing in, but the Brazilian has made it abundantly clear he does not want to leave the Camp Nou.

Semedo’s future has been uncertain for a little while and he could fill a need for Juve on the right side of their defence.

The report reckons Maurizio Sarri is not convinced by Danilo or Mattia De Sciglio and prefers Juan Cuadrado further forward.

Meanwhile, Semedo has reportedly called a halt to contract renewal talks at Barcelona which suggests he could be tempted to move when the transfer window reopens.
