Arthur Melo may not want to leave Barcelona but Juventus are reportedly adamant that the only way the Catalans will get their hands on Miralem Pjanic is if the Brazilian moves the other way.
Sport reported on Sunday that Barca and Juve are close to agreeing a mega-deal involving Pjanic, Nelson Semedo and Mattia De Sciglio, but speculation in Italy suggests that is extremely unlikely.
Juventus will only let Pjanic go to the Camp Nou if they can swap him with Arthur and are also talking to PSG and Chelsea about the midfielder, according to Sky Sport’s Gianluca Di Marzio. Fabrizio Romano is also reporting Juve “only want Arthur.”
Of course Arthur has made it crystal clear he’s not interested in moving. He said at the end of April that “the only option that interests me is staying at Barcelona.”
