Gonzalo Higuain has been talking about Lautaro Martinez and reckons the youngster will find it difficult to say no to a move to Barcelona where he would link up with Lionel Messi.
The striker spoke about his own experience of moving to Real Madrid from River Plate in 2007 when he was still just a teenager and how he couldn’t turn down their offer.
“At 18 years old, Real Madrid came looking for me, what was I going to say? No, I wait? You don’t know what’s going to happen to you, do you see?
“It is a very compromising situation for him. I do not want to comment so as not to raise any controversy or anything but for Barcelona to come looking for you, and with Messi ... I would not want to be in his shoes right now, it is very difficult to say ‘no’.
“It will be up to him to make the decision that is the best for him and his career.”

The latest report from Argentina has claimed Barca are very close to landing Martinez from Inter Milan, although any deal will not be announced until after the seasons in Spain and Italy end.
