Barcelona reportedly view Jean-Clair Todibo as a transfer gold mine. The central defender is currently on loan at Schalke and has impressed. He moved to Barcelona last year after contract troubles with Toulouse.

There are a few different teams interested in Todibo. Southampton, Everton, and Roma are the main teams to have been linked with him. Although Bayer Leverkusen, Milan, Watford, and Monaco have also been rumored to be lightly interested.

The leader in the clubhouse seems to be Everton. The deal would be worth an initial €20m with €5m in add-ons. It’ll be interesting to see if Barcelona’s relationship with Roma helps out the Serie A side at all. Things should further develop with this deal in the next couple weeks.
