Barcelona are reportedly hoping to follow up Arthur’s sale by agreeing deals for Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic this summer.
According to Sport, Barcelona are keen to sell the pair to lower the wage bill and the average age of the first-team squad (erm Pjanic?).
Anyway, Barca’s financial situation means they want to overhaul their midfield with Rakitic and Vidal going and Carles Alena, Riqui Puig, Trincao and Pedri options for next season.
Rakitic apparently only wants to move to Sevilla, while Vidal has been linked with Inter and praised manager Antonio Conte recently.
Both players are contracted to Barcelona until the end of next season which is another reason the club will be keen to sell this year.
