Ousmane Dembélé was front page news in the last couple of days with reports claiming the young Frenchman was tempted to leave Barcelona for Juventus on loan this summer, but a new report says that’s not the case.

French newspaper L’Equipe reports a quote from the player’s agent, who says Dembélé is “not expected to leave” Barça at the end of the season even though Juventus tried to “woo him”, an expression not used since 1987.

Dembélé is the second Barça player to be strongly linked with a move to Juventus as part of the complicated operation to bring Miralem Pjanic to Camp Nou, but it appears as though the French forward will follow in the footsteps of his teammate Arthur Melo and decline a move to Italy.
