The Catalan giants have reportedly beaten off competition from Real Madrid and Atletico for the young striker who will join Juvenil A.
Here’s Barcelona’s official statement:
“Fabián Luzzi, 16, arrives at Juvenil A of FC Barcelona from Rayo Vallecano. The player has signed the contract, which will link him for three seasons plus two optional ones, in the presence of the manager of training football, Xavier Vilajoana, and the director of training football, Patrick Kluivert.”
Luzzi is an Under-16 international with Spain and has been described as being “one of the greatest promises on the national scene.” He has top scored for the youth team at Rayo, and Barca will be hoping he can do the same at Camp Nou.
