Emerson could be set to leave Real Betis and move to AC Milan this summer.
The full-back’s agents have been spotted in Milan on Friday amid reports the Rossoneri are discussing a deal to bring him to Serie A.
Mundo Deportivo reckon Milan are pretty keen on the 21-year-old and could land him for around €25 million.
There’s a similar story in Sport although they are more optimistic on the price, claiming Barca could be able to get €30m for Emerson.
Either fee would represent a healthy profit for Barcelona on a player who has yet to wear the blaugrana but has spoken several times about his desire to play at the Camp Nou.
Emerson said in December “in my head I’m clear that I will go to Barcelona and that I will play to win the Champions League” but it’s not clear now if he will get his wish.
