Arturo Vidal may just end up staying at Barcelona next season and seeing out his contract with the Catalan giants after all.
It’s been rumored for some time now that the Chile international will be sold this summer, but it seems he may have convinced Barcelona to change their minds.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the club are impressed with his fitness, versatility and performances this season and are contemplating keeping hold of the 33-year-old.
Indeed the current thinking is that Vidal will stay put unless a “last minute offer” arrives and tempts Barca into letting him go.
The veteran is coming off the back of a strong season with Barcelona. He managed eight goals in all competitions and has proved an influential figure.
